The many uses of hydrogen peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is anti-viral antibacterial and anti-fungal. It also costs less than one dollar per bottle. Hydrogen peroxide can replace so many cleaning products in your home that are causing you harm. Here are some of the ways that you can use hydrogen peroxide to protect your health!

1. Use one cap full as a mouth wash for 10 minutes per day. replaces mouth wash, and those expensive teeth whitening strips.

2. Use it to spray down counters. replaces toxic cleaning sprays

3.Use it to clean bathrooms, as it is much less harsh on septic systems.

4.Add 1 cup to a load of laundry, instead of bleach. Removes blood stains instantly.

5.great as a natural insecticide and weed killer.

6.Can be used as a vegetable wash to neutralize chemicals.

These are just a few of the infinite uses of 3% hydrogen peroxide

Medical Massage

Massage therapy is known as a great way to relax, and reduce stress. For what ever reason I have gravitated towards deep tissue massage, also known as medical massage. Medical massage is the manual manipulation of specific muscles, that helps to supply oxygen to muscles and tendons. In the future the number one reason people will seek out massage will be for the treatment of chronic pain. watch this video to see a demo of medical massage therapy!

How to properly stretch to maintain health

stretching is one of the best exercises to do on a daily basis, but it must be done properly.
As a massage therapist I specialize in safe stretching, and proper technique. some stretching can be done by yourself, while others can only be done with the help of a licensed professional.
what ever type of stretching the intention should be to lengthen the muscle as much as possible. Benefits are that it increases flexibility.
It also helps muscles relax and return to their normal length. there are many different types of stretching.
1. ballistic stretching- this is when there is a bouncing action at the end of the stretch. This is not recommended because of the damage it can do to the muscle.
2. Active stretching- This is when a person simply stretches by them self.
3. Passive stretching- is when you are stretched by the therapist.
4.proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation or PNF- this is a technique where the patient and therapist work together, it is described by an isometric contraction followed by a post isometric stretch. this can only be done by a licensed professional

The Many Benefits of Receiving a Therapeutic Massage in a Health Care Environment

In these tough economic times everyone is concerned with getting the most out of every dollar. I believe the best massage therapy session takes place in a health care environment.

The first reason is time. I offer full one hour sessions compared to 50 minute sessions that most spas offer.

The second reason is value. I am currently offering a cash plan where you would pay between 50-60 dollars per session, compared to the 100 dollars you would likely pay at a spa.

The last reason is in a medical environment you would never be required to tip me for the massage therapy session, where as in a spa tips are expected and sometimes built into the price.

This is why I feel strongly that the best value and most benefits for massage therapy are experienced in a health care environment.  Go to my website and click on loyalty program for more information.
